I hated BYU growing up. I asked my parents if I could attend other churches during my senior year in high school. They agreed, but only if I took the missionary discussions.

I went off to another college where I converted to the Church. In addition to gaining a testimony of the Church, I admired BYU's athletics and their ability to win despite all of the odds against them. Academic requirements, honor code, players coming and going due to missions, and being a Church affiliated school.

It was at this time in my life that I transferred to BYU and loved every minute. It's because of my experiences while there that I have become a huge fan and donor.
