What? The Supreme Court's ruling messed up BYU's inclusion into a major P-5 conference? Prop 8 also messed us up? I guess that we shouldn't have ever left Palmyra, or Kirtland, Far West, or Nauvoo because sooner or later people would find out how fanatical we are and would chase us all over the country. Now our football team is messed up by the Supreme Court decision. When will it stop?
Really? My simple little comment is that I would recommend caution in being critical of the Lord's prophets, and local leaders, in their continuous fight against those who would seek to destroy the family. Yes, same sex marriage destroys the family as God has defined, not as the country defines it, but as defined in scripture. I will always stand on the side with the prophets and if that, and the Supreme Court keep us out of a conference, then so be it. Conference affiliation is surely not worth my membership in the Church.
