Agree. The church isn't stupid. It opened the doors of those who are more likely to be receptive. Most of the public, especially those pushing for SSM are not receptive. I'm not from Utah, I'm from Seattle and it's what we deal with anytime the church comes up (at least in my experience). Lately its about gay marriage, but its always been something (and usually not blacks, women, or "academic freedom")
