I remember in HS in New Jersey a kid saying he wanted to go to Oklahoma for college. I thought to myself who is going to go to school way out there? When asked why; he mentioned the football team and Barry Switzer. (He played tennis). I thought to myself; what a fool, who picks a school because of the success of their sports teams.
PS Although I did go to grad school at BYU which is even farther out there; but I was more mature then. Call me a hypocrite.
