Hogwash (I can say hogwash now that I'm in my 40's)
BYU CAN win with their standards, and although no BYU fan should expect BYU to be national contenders year in and year out, I'm convinced BYU can hang around the top 25 most years, and have a special season every 5-10 years with all of their supposed restrictions. The honor code ISN'T a detriment. It's actually more of an advantage. It's the uniqueness that BYU has, similar to the uniqueness BYU had in the 80's with a revolutionary passing attack. It separates them from the crowded masses. It CAN be an advantage and it should be. I'm convinced of that!
