It's not like the church does press releases regarding internal finances. BYU's AD operates several million dollars in the black and BYU has P5 level facilities. We have our own TV channel and HD TV complex. We have a channel on Sirius/XM. We make more substantially more in TV money than any G5 school (and in some cases BYU makes more TV revenue than entire G5 conferences). Money is not a problem for BYU athletics these days.
BYU's admin and BOT aren't extravagant in their expenditures, but they do spend what is necessary to keep BYU competitive.
