The kid is still committed, but Oregon is coming down to watch him throw. If things go well he is going to take a trip to Oregon. Hosick is ready to play next year and want to play.

Monty indicated that he has had conversations with NFL, scouts and others surrounding the BYU program that they were expecting Taysom to leave after this past year. NFL scouts have said he is an NFL slot receive right now that this yards after first contact are off the charts....after second contact as well. NFL scouts are not high on him as a QB though. Take this for what it is worth. It is just a talk show guy with unverified sources.

I would not be surprised if the plan for Taysom was to leave after this season....IF....he had had a good year. We all know what happened with the injury so maybe that has changed his plans. His age is definitely working against him.
