You're making judgements on someone who hadn't started a real football game in 7 years. Not only that, but TONS of QB development can happen When actually playing (look at Taysom's First few games vs his last few last year.) Based on what he could do in those circumstances, especially in his first game against nowhere state, I'd venture to say he could have been good.
