Not sure about Munns, but Lark:
From what I heard Lark put a nasty taste in the coaches mouths when he first came in. This is slightly hearsay, but I dated a girl who's sister dated Lark back in the day (not the girl who died, a different one) Anyway, she said he was perhaps the most arrogant guy she had ever met. I know, "a woman scorned" and all, but thats what she said. There were also some articles that explained that before his mission the coaches were a little put out by his attitude and that it had changed with time, but I think they were still bypassing him due to his "attitude problems." After watching him play, I felt reassured in my baseless opinion that, if he had started for us for a few years, he would have been a great QB, attitude issues or not. He was a talented kid and I think he could have been really good. Alas.

Munns I never got. The kid was built like a tank and could have played almost any position on the field but they always kept him back there as QB. They also rarely got him any PT in blowouts. the few times I saw him throw in spring games or once or twice in a real game, he looked to have a cannon. Maybe someone has info on him.
