The "advantage" thing is way too subjective for me. I hate

seeing an offensive player bump his way toward the rim, knocking the defensive player back half a step each time and then, when the defensive player is out of position because of the last bump, the offensive player puts up a shot, gets bumped by the defender and a foul is called on the defender.
