Is a pivot foot established if you obtain the ball while only having one foot on
the ground? Or could you then take two giant steps without dribbling? Because most fast break assisted layups work like this. Passer dishes to a slasher who catches the ball while one foot is on the ground, and catcher then proceeds to take two bounding steps and then lays in it (or dunks). On the other hand, if passer passes to catcher who is stationary, a pivot foot is established, and two additional steps are not allowed. But what if catcher is stationary but lifts up one foot prior to catching the ball? Isn't he the same as the slasher, able to then take two giant steps (assuming they are leaps so that both feet don't touch the ground simultaneously)? Imagine the crazy post move using this technique;)
