behind his back at BYU (HC, missions, high academic standards), do you think they're just blowing smoke? They know what they're talking about. Competition in D1 football from the middle of the pack to upper tier in any given year is razor thin. If you want to truly be honest, you have to acknowledge that coaches like Peterson, Patterson, KW, etc. (who everyone compares Bronco to on CB) would not fare as well at BYU as their respective schools. Think about it. Bronco makes some head-scratcher mistakes, but if he were average, under these conditions, BYU would have a .500-losing record nearly every year. I really don't know how good of a coach Bronco is in a direct comparison because right now there's a lot of apples to oranges situations here, but I don't think he is just average. I also believe the O-line and S&C is finally headed in the right direction. So, we'll see.
