I never said Memphis was a bad team. I agree they were a better team, but isn't that the problem? Are you okay with teams like Memphis (who had losing seasons '08-'13) beating us? And programs like Memphis are beating us consistently. We lost to what 5 mid-major programs last year? Don't you expect more?
But losing wasn't the embarrassing part, the brawl was embarrassing, giving up 55 points was embarrassing, and Broncos unwillingness to make the necessary changes is embarrassing.
Maybe some fans are okay with the product that has been on the field lately. But I'm not. I expect more. Not perfection, but improvement. It's not like we are talking about a single year either. 3 straight 8-5 seasons coming from a coach who set his own standard at competing for National Championships and top 10 rankings.
