I just don't understand why you or anyone else would support a program if you believe it will never be more than mediocre.
Lavell was a much, much better coach than Bronco. He changed the game of football. He produced a NC, a Heisman and other individual awards, several All-Americans, top 10 finishes, and a QB factory at BYU. What has Bronco done? True, he hasn't run the program into the ground like Crowton. But I don't believe BYU's ceiling as a program is tied to Bronco.
