Yes. And your expectations are about 30 years outdated.
With the exception of that 5-6 year period when Lavell turned football on it's ear...Lavell was Bronco...and now Bronco is Bronco. Now you can want more and end up with Crowton...but BYU is BYU. We recruit in the 60's and end up typically in the 30's. Not bad with the many, many, many obstacles BYU faces.
