BYU isn't just sitting back hoping for an invite. Not sure what happened the
first go around, but I can say BYU is being proactive. There are certain things BYU simply can't concede on (ie Sunday play) but I can't imagine most everything else could be worked out. I am convinced BYU isn't going to play hard ball if negotiations do indeed occur.

I am sure there are those at BYU that think BYU would be just fine if we aren't included in the P5. However, I would be shocked if the majority didn't view the program as a sinking ship if the P5 is solidified and we are on the outskirts.

Like you, I would have a hard time continuing the path we are on if the P5 continues to run the show and we are on the outskirts looking in. Sure we have a chance to run the table and play for a NC now, but as time goes on the small fish are going to left out to dry. Just my thoughts.
