Bronco sided with Doman and Reynolds in their disagreement with Anae...
...on the direction the offense needed to go back in 2010. It was reported at the end of October that season (with the offense struggling) that there were disagreements on the offensive staff and Doman and Reynolds would be given more input in the game planning and play calling after the Wyoming game.

I think this was a contributing factor for Anae in his decision not to reapply for his job, and for him to return both Doman and Reynolds had to be gone. I have to give credit to Anae. He learned some wise lessons during that time and it made him a better coach. It polished some of his rough edges and helped him raise his game in some key areas.
