RE: PLease find that link.
"BYU's offensive coaches were asked to seek other employment while head coach Bronco Mendenhall conducts individual staff evaluations in the coming days to see which assistant coaches he will retain.

The Deseret News learned this action took place this morning and it has been confirmed by several valued sources. BYU's athletic department has not responded to a request for an official confirmation of the move." (Dick Harmon, KSL 12/20/10)

Dick states pretty clearly that he had several valued sources (that means more than just one or two). This story was later picked up by NBC and published online along with a number of other on-line sports reporting services. It was even reported in the DN that Bronco told them to "aggressively" seek other employment.

What you're saying that doesn't make sense, in one of your posts you state that this happens every year at BYU and that most coaches are on one year contracts (or at least once upon a time that was the deal) and it went back to the Lavell era. So if that was a normal thing then why would Anae all of a sudden feel differently about this normal process and that he needed to resign and "aggressively" look for other employment?

Your story isn't supported by the actions of the individuals involved or the reports in the news. As for comments about coaches lying? Why that's never happened in the entire history of college football. Coaches never lie, not even white lies. I'm shocked at the insinuation!!

That's Outrageous!!
