That is massively paranoid or obsessively negative about the coaching staff. Not giving credit to Harmon's "unnamed sources" is not being negative about Harmon at all. That is a journalists way of doing the two step you are describing. It's Harmon saying that the information is of questionable credibility. You can believe what you want - but you are basing your beliefs on spurious and discredited information.
So now you are calling an official press release by BYU a lie, and you are calling Bronco, Anae and Holmoe liars. It takes a special type of person to stick to the rumors in the face of real evidence contradicting them. And you know what those special people do when others point out their logical fallacies? They call them naive. As if believing the reasonable truth is somehow a dumb thing to do.
We aren't talking about politicians caught with their hand in the Cookie Jar, we are talking about BYU and three of our coaches (AD). BYU is above reproach and you know that the Church would never allow a falsehood to be released. And Bronco, Anae and Holmoe have been shown to be honest and honorable men. Are you really calling me "naive" to believe those four sources over Dick Harmons "unnamed sources"?
Really?
