I dont think the coaches or players are looking past your team. The familiarity
that the coaching staff has due to their friendly relationship with your teams staff means they will prep our team and respect yours at the same time.

Injury wise we get some big contributors back on Defense (Tuiloma and Langi). Look for Tuiloma to demand a double team from your O line while most of the pressure on your quarterback (whoever is on the field) to come from our linebacking core or our big Defensive end Bronson Kaufusi.

I think your pocket passer would be more effective than your mobile qb. If your O line can give your Qb time our secondary while talented is for the most part very young. If your qb decides to go mobile he will need to make it past our lbs who are quick and capable of making him pay (Langi in particular).

If your defense can play bump and run coverage our WRs wont like it at all. We do have a better rb sitution than we did at Michigan with Brown back. He and Francis Bernard are bruising backs whereas our speed guy is injured. I dont know much about your run defense but our O coordinator will look to see if he can get a run game going for a couple series.

I have a hard time seeing us willingly go back to a G5 conference, that being said if we did it would probably be the AAC. We want the exposure schedule and money and opportunity of a P5 team. We feel like we may be able to achieve that thru independence.

Im excited for the game and by no means see it as a cakewalk. I respect you guys and what you do out on the east coast. I think you guys are always a threat for that NY6 slot and look forward to future matchups.
