That's not really remotely true. ECU historically from a football prospective has been 3rd behind UNC and State and ahead of Wake and Duke since pretty much the 90's. And this is for someone that grew up well outside of Greenville (I grew up in Winston-Salem). Wake and Duke have never had big football followings and anyone that has lived in NC knows this.

But hey, you do paint a good picture for the BYU fans why ECU has a "chip on their shoulder" so kudos to you sir.
