which game was out of reach where that opportunity was obvious?
It seems to be popular to be calling for Mangum this week, but at what point in any of the losses was the game so out of reach, that it was obvious that we should be going to option #2?
Have I been watching another season, or has BYU been in every loss, right up to the last offensive possession, and typically, a Taysom run in the later part of the 4th quarter has been paramount to BYU having an opportunity to be in the game. It isn't like we are losing to nobody's either, every loss has been to a team that is currently, or that has been ranked.
Calling for the backup qb feels like fan knee jerk reaction to 4 losses by a combined 7 points. Surprise everyone, our offense isn't going to look great against 3 of the top 16 teams in the country, especially when our best weapon, Williams, doesn't play.
