Speaking of baby and the bathwater... I'm not arguing for firing the coaches,
I really like these coaches and think they are best for the situation right now.
But their performance should not be given a free ride because they are my buddy. Nor should that cloud your evaluation of them either.
I am a fan, nothing more. No more or less than you. I don't believe in stifled opinion or expression, ever. Particularly an opinion may not be mainstream thought. Indeed, the ability to counter the mainstream is what has made 90% of unicorn businesses in world today and Lavell Edwards.
When CB starts singing the praises of a coach who has gone 4-4, against ANY college schedule, we really ought to reevaluate our expectations and capabilities. Are we here for the purpose of Iowa State level entertainment or to compete and win football games? Just being there is not enough. If it's just for the pageantry and to sit in a stadium together with other folks, there are other more local teams that I could do that with.
