Though, I think it should be noted that Bronco et al had a couple of games every year where the team just didn't come out to play, we've not seen that from this team. Every game, regardless of our record, we've come out and played hard and made every game competitive.
Also, these coaches are all first year HC, OC, and DC, there is going to be a learning curve. If you would've told me we'd be 4-4 with a completely rookie coaching staff, I'd be thrilled. We're a few plays away from being 7-1, and some calls in crucial situations (2-point play call at Utah, pass to Hifo at WVU, FG while still having :15 on the clock at BSU) were suspect, but I think this staff will take what they've learned in those situations and improve their performance and that of the team.
Bronco and Anae would make those mistakes, and they never seemed to learn from them; Anae especially. That's why those coaches started to lose some support, is because they seemed so thick-skulled when it came to making changes.
