He has "done alright" but isn't "doing alright" what pushed BM out?
"he made more money at VA"..."it was his choice to go"..."we needed a new change of scenery"..."excuses"..."excuses".
The reason he is not here anymore is because he got stale to our boosters taste and he had hit his proverbial ceiling. Doing slightly better than alright kept him around here for a long time and through some difficult periods.
But if the pressure is going to be there for one coach (BM) then it is fair to assume the standard we set for all coaches (KS) is the same. Win, win big and win always. Other wise, be prepared to be criticized, boo'd, brow beaten and moved on. It is our cougar way or eating our own and striving for unabashed success in football.
