Most on the FB thread don't know the hard numbers... or the logistics behind it
BYU literally has promised a new Olympic sized facility since 1997. Plans were drawn up (paid 1 million for) and approved in 2006. It went so far as the High School and USA swimming community in Utah was alerted that championship meets wouldn't be held at BYU in 2007 due to the new pool.
