This is not P-5 thinking. A 50 meter pool really is necessary.
I wonder though, if this indicates that they are going to need to re-do the RB and the SFH but need to buy 5-10 years before doing so. Maybe this is a stop gap. The pool would be closed if they don't renovate to meet codes. Just a thought.
