It's not a handout.
It's the cost of eating out. If you can't afford it or refuse to pay it, don't eat out. It's like if you're a car mechanic and someone kept bringing their car in and only paying 80% of the bill, but your boss forced you to fix the car and then took the difference out of your paycheck. You're doing exactly the same to the waiters and waitresses when you eat out.

I hope the waiter/waitress spits in your food when you go out to eat. You can go ahead and try and argue why it's ok..

I think that if people want to not tip in a sit down restaurant they should tell the waiter beforehand
