That's not fair.
Every fanbase has people in it who don't tip. Most of this thread is pro-tipping (at least, even if they hate the system they still tip). BYU fans have a reputation of being cheap, and it's deserved in part, but it's not really because they don't tip (although this particular one doesn't). The bigger problem from an away-game standpoint is that they don't like to stay in hotels or buy drinks, which is part of the reason that games may like to have them (since they draw a decent number of viewers and/or attendees), but cities don't really. Lack of tipping didn't keep them out of the Big 12, not being worth enough did.

I think that if people want to not tip in a sit down restaurant they should tell the waiter beforehand
