He is making a living as a member of the media. He can't be blue goggled all the time. Yes he has said some things that upset me at times but we as fans cannot honestly expect every former player to always be 100% pro-BYU. BYU is not always perfect and they are not above criticism. You also can't expect that he will never say anything positive about Utah.

In my personal opinion, I think there was tension between Hans and Bronco for some reason and that Hans felt isolated for a time. I'm not blaming Bronco and I'm not blaming Hans but I definitely noticed a change in Hans about 5-6 years back and that's when he started to become more critical of Bronco and the program in general.

For whatever reason, many former players didn't like Bronco. I don't know why but I do know that it wasn't a few isolated players, it was several of them. Regardless of why or what happened, we should be glad that they are coming back into the fold and have a renewed sense of pride and excitement about BYU again!
