BYU has a national fan base. The AAC is far less regional than the MWC.

Plus, the perception is that the AAC is more competitive. It also has better basketball. And yes, I don't want to go back to dealing with Wyoming, UNLV and SDSU fans.

Also, we can play MWC teams pretty much whenever we want- Id rather line up 1 per year in non conference.

Yes, I think indy is better than MWC for recruiting. Just look at the difference in teams played & TV.
