Your first point is exactly why BYU is not in the MWC. The MWC didn't abide by an earlier agreement to allow
re-broadcast of games among other things. BYU was always carrying the conference financially. Why would they want to go back?
And as point 4 goes, most conferences have designated BYU a P5 level team for scheduling. If they were to jump to a G5 all bets would be off and they would have a much more difficult time scheduling P5 teams.
