I agree - unless AAC inclusion were done in secret and then announced

There would be the same protests from student bodies against our inclusion. They would protest after the fact as well if it were done in secret, but it'd be a done deal at that point. Student bodies are just as liberal and there are just as many social justice warriors at AAC schools as B12 schools.
