I'm tired of falling for this line. What exactly about the "landscape" is going to change that the P5 are going to be thrilled to add a bunch of new members? There's no basis in reality for this. The P5 are stronger than ever, everyone else is weaker than ever, and that's the way the P5 like it. Are we hoping for some magical anti-trust lawsuit? Not going to happen, at least not successfully. It's just talk.

A P5 conference will add us when/if they decide they are better off with us than without us. So far, the cost/benefit analysis says they're better off without us. How do we change this calculus?
