Tom Holmoe has yet to come out say that it is no longer sustainable nor has he stated that we need to get back in a G5 conference. I believe Tom has a greater understanding of the college football landscape and where BYU stands right now then anyone on this forum or in the media.
All this crazy talk is because of one reason and one reason only...BYU is struggling at 1-3 and no wins against an FBS opponent yet. If BYU was 2-2 and competitive in their 2 losses or 3-1 with a win over rival Utah, no one would even be mentioning going back to a G5 conference. Winning cures all, regardless if your in a conference or not, stop with the crazy talk already. Right now we need to hope the coaches can get this thing back on track and start winning more going forward and trust Tom Holmoe to do what is best for BYU.
