would have been TCU - sure.
How many QBs or Freshman QBs for that matter "look good" against "good teams" anyway? Ryan Mallet is said to be the best QB prospect according to some in this draft. He didn't exactly look amazing against cheater Ohio State.

Garcia for South Carolina didn't look that great against Florida State, unless 3 interceptions is "looking good"

Oregon's defense wasn't to the caliber of TCU's and Cam Newton didn't look that great throwing the ball - he was a Heisman winner too.
Typically Freshman don't look amazing. Even Matt Barkley didn't look that great as a QB his first year until you realize "oh this kid is a freshman".
There is a reason Heaps is a Freshman All American and it isn't because he did well against bad teams. He wasn't going to win the Heisman his first year with how he fared, but he didn't do bad and most people who follow football said Heaps did pretty good as a freshman. The gap between DI football and even elite HS football is IMMENSE. If you can't see it you have no business spouting off about that.
Heaps looked pretty good against the patsies on the schedule like he should and improved. That is just fine for a first year quarterback. In fact with how the coaching staff screwed up the QB thing I think Heaps progressed faster than normal.
Regardless - welcome to the ignore list.
