Fair analysis imo...
I think this is quite fair. All that is being said is that BYU beat some bad teams easily and good teams beat us. The team needs to prove itself and I think that is a fair analysis. I do however think that Heaps will be good and do not let RN on the field please. Except at the end of the game. The entire offense has grown and I think the team will do better. But that is clearly an assumption because they have not proved it yet. There is always a ton of hype every year. Even last year we had hype and people ready to win it all. Just talking about the offense during spring football does not make BYU great. I certainly hope they are but once again they have not proven it. The only problem with the analysis is that it looks uses stats for the entire teams and then Heaps' ability is questioned. Though not totally fair most offenses live and die by the QB. Forget dropped balls, missed assignments, lack of running game, etc. If the offense doesn't win, even with the greatest QB ever, then he won't be remembered.
