Yes, the other backs were "veterans." I don't doubt they gave their best, but none was close to the talent that Unga had. I think Jeffacka's post has some merit. Most of Heaps wins were against bad teams. (He almost beat mediocre Utah.) I don't think anyone can accurately say he was the same QB at the end of year as he was at the start of the year. He'll still have some growing pains. The difference, IMO, (if he can stay healthy) will be that BYU will still win while he's growing.
