It's true that Heaps went for it on fourth down and failed to challenge Bronco's decision to not settle for a field goal in the first part of the game.

It's true that Heaps didn't force Bradley to take a knee after making the sweet interception in the fourth quarter, and that Heaps didn't pull Bradley out off bounds, either of which would have avoided the fumble call back to the yewts.

It's true that Heaps didn't make audibles and to pass the ball and go for a touchdown late in the 4th, despite the fact that he moved the ball at will to get into that position, and instead elected to follow Anae's calls and settle for a field goal.

It's true that Heaps failed to block the yewt who broke the line and blocked the field goal attempt at the end of the game.


However, Heaps was a still a freshman, so I can forgive him for everything but the failure to block the yewt at the end of the game. If the same thing happened this year, I expect Heaps to hold his ground and make the block, or maybe he'll take the kick himself...I'm not sure, but I know this year Heaps does not let field goal attempts get blocked.
