or pantsed you and left you to run home in your underwear and that was getting off easy. I grew up with name calling all my life (my first name lent itself to some easy name calling) and just don't find that it is bothersome.
As a matter of fact, my high school basketball team was the most hated team in the state, when opposing crowds would get ugly with us that just motivated me and fed my competitive nature. My best games typically were on the road.
For a BYU crowd they're certainly pushing the envelope but I'm sure you'll see similar things from groups of students at football games, you just don't hear them as much because there's 65,000 overall.
