Nobody ever talks about the real issue of why BYU recruiting has been going downhill over the past few years.
BYU is extremely hard to get into (hint... most of you reading this won't have kids getting into BYU). Recruiting at BYU isn't based on religion, it's based on academics.
It's a hard school to get into and a hard school to stay eligible in.
Recruiting has to deal with that.

IMO recruiting hasn’t gotten worse under Kalani, but it hasn’t gotten better like we all thought it would
