It’s already been lowered to admit a number of student-athletes in most of our programs,” Holmoe said. “It’s not like we’re living up to the academic standard of our school with great standards. I go to great lengths as an administrator to work with admissions and central administration to put together teams and recruiting classes that fit BYU … I would get on the table and stand on my head to get a five-star athlete in.
