My nephew got in with a 19 on the ACT and 3.0 gpa
as a football scholarship player. This was over a decade ago when he graduated from High school, he served a mission and came back and played for 4 years (started 2 years). His father (my brother) told me he was shooting for above a 17 on the ACT. Said his son didn't even study or take the exam seriously because he believed he could do the bare minimum and hit that number which he did (albeit barely).

Unless BYU has changed the recruiting process and standards since then, I can't imagine it being much different. I could be wrong and out of date but those are my facts. Please let me know if you have any information or facts to prove that it has changed since then. I'd actually like to know for myself.
