Tyson seemed invincible until Buster Douglas. Could Ali beat Buster Douglas?
I think so. Tyson could get upset by guys like Douglas and couldn’t beat the great fighters of his day towards the end.

Ali was able to beat the great fighters of his day and avenge his losses. During an era were boxing was a bigger deal.

So the question becomes was mike Tyson in his early prime as good as he seemed? We’re his challengers during that early stretch any good? I think it’s safe to question.

I didn’t think Ali could survive George Foreman. Foreman looked like a butcher! But Ali figured him out.

So I think I have to give Ali the benefit of the doubt. I question Tyson’s early challengers and his mental stability and how he really faltered towards the end against great fighters. In the end I think Ali would beat mike mentally.
