Tyson was a lot younger when Douglas and Holyfield trounced him than when

a shot Ali fought a much younger Holmes. Ali just before his forced retirement in the late 1960s was amazing. The Ali that lost to and then beat Frazier and then Foreman was diminished compared to his pre-layoff prime, yet Ali still excelled. Go watch black and white footage of Ali in the 1960s. A Tyson in his 20s lacked the skill, speed and chin of Ali in his 20s prime.
