Buster was fat & slow — & it was obvious he wasn't looking early for the knockout but to put on a show for the Japanese (as he said later).
But credit to Buster — the guy was very talented, but just didn't have the consistency or work ethic to compete regularly in the top-5. But even if he had, I think a focused Tyson from that time woulda beat him easy. As it goes, Buster's lucky the ref was very gracious in handling his 10 count (cuz the bell didn't quite save him — as the ref ruled; he was still out on his feet, imo).
