Let's see here
The QB room looks a lot stronger now with Wilson/Romney/Hall over an injured Taysom and Mangum.

Jamaal Williams wasn't on the 2015 roster. The 3 leading rushers were Brown, Bernard, and Hine. I'd trade those 3 for Finau, McChesney, and Ty'son 7 days a week. Even with Jamaal, Ty'son is about the same level of talent. The other 2 (Finau and McChesney have a much higher upside than Brown and Hine). We also had Katoa who is a solid depth back. We all know what happened to Bernard.

I agree the 2015 receiver group was better, but I like the pipeline a lot more now than back then.

While I'll agree that the LB group was far better in 2015, there are a bunch of these young linebackers I expect will surpass that group and even make the NFL. The depth linebackers after Warner, Langi, and situational Takitaki were nothing special.

At DL I don't think Corbin played a single down. Mo'unga had 5 tackles on the season. Taele was the rough equivalent of El-Bakri. Tuiloma was a shell of himself. Tonga, Mahe, El-Bakri, and Fauatea was a huge upgrade in the middle of the line. The 2019 team didn't have a Bronson, but that's partly because of the lack of seniors. The overall quality and depth is much better now.

In the secondary, Davis was a work in progress. Dayan redshirted. Zayne Anderson barely played. You had a one year wonder at safety (Wadsworth). Dayan ended up being one of Bronco's parting gifts to Sitake. Mandell is starting to look like one of the best corners we've had in years and has 2 more years. Austin Lee ended up being solid at safety. There a lot more high upside players now than in 2015.
