What they aren't thinking about is safety. Imagine a girl having to walk that
distance late at night. My daughter had some experiences like that. Mostly she was able to park fairly close to her housing, but there were a few times when she came home late and had to park several blocks away.

Now, Provo is hardly one of these inner cities you hear about where no one can walk outside at night without getting assaulted, but at the same time, it's not like there have been no attacks on women in Provo. Fortunately, nothing ever happened to my daughter, but if you make enough girls walk far enough at night, sooner or later you will have trouble.
