BYU/yewtah game in 2001. Sitting in our usual seats, and an annoying yewt
fan (I know.... weird) a few rows up kept mocking BYU. We were undefeated at the time and he kept yelling "Over-rated" in the same tone/meter we cheer "Let's go Cougar's, clap-clap, clap-clap-clap." He kept this up ALL GAME LONG........
Well, when Luke marched down that east sideline with 1:20 to go and gave BYU the lead (such a great moment) we all went NUTS!
The best part was once the game ended he was stuck in a sea of BYU fans. Our seats are 8 rows from the very top, this guy was a few rows above us. When a game ends, the isles that high up clog and it takes at least 10-15 minutes to go anywhere. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE in the area kept chanting "UNDEFEATED" clap-clap, clap-clap-clap. This went on for a long time, all aimed at this one annoying tool, while he awkwardly made his way down the isle avoiding eye contact. It was LOUD, and oh so sweet.
I hope his ears are still ringing from that.
