I went to a BYU-New Mexico basketball game when I was a student
I was sitting in the student section with a friend of mine. There was a group of about 4 guys sitting right behind us that were anti-BYU guys. There were obviously LDS as my friend knew 1 of them from the MTC. Anyway, 1 of them was hurling every insult you could think of without actually cursing towards BYU. He would say it loud enough so that all of the BYU students could hear it around him. He was being a total yewt about it too. My friend (who pretty much wasn't afraid of anyone) finally got sick of it and so he turned around and gave the guy the middle finger. The guy kept it down for the entire rest of the game and BYU cruised to a double-digit win over the Lobos.
